For over 100 years the Daughters of the Cincinnati, an organization of women descended from George Washington’s officers, has given scholarships to help pay for the college education of daughters of today’s career military officers in the US armed services. Founded in 1894 by descendants of George Washington’s officers, our organization has given scholarships to officers’ daughters for over a hundred years.
The average scholarship is $4000, renewable for four years. Selection is based on both academic excellence and need. Complete information can be found on their website at www.daughters1894.org. Students must apply by March 15 of senior year.
